Aruwa Capital Management, was represented on the Webinar hosted by the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA), in collaboration with The Bridgespan Group tagged- Closing the capital gap in impact investing in Africa.
We were represented by our Visionary Founder- Adesuwa Okunbo Rhodes who was one of the Guest Speakers alongside Bernard Chidzero, Snr. Investment Advisor Bridgespan.
African-led investment funds that prioritize social impact alongside financial reward face a particularly challenging task in securing capital, they also play a pivotal role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through impact investing.
The Bridgespan Group, in its mission to empower and elevate African fund managers, conducted extensive research, involving interviews with over 25 stakeholders, of which Aruwa Capital Management was also a contributor.
Adesuwa gave valuable insights how asset owners and limited partners can support African GPs in closing the funding gap and attracting sufficient impact capital to address pressing social challenges on the continent in what was an engaging and enlightening discussion.
