Aruwa Capital was invited on the Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund (MFAGF) webinar moderated by Vymala Thuron, Deputy MD, MFAGF. The webinar themed- Inspire Inclusion: Spotlighting African Female Fund Managers raising the bar had in attendance African Female Fund Managers who have been funded by the Mastercard Foundation, with an aim to exchange insights on key investment data and trends shaping the landscape in 2024.

Aruwa was represented by our Founder- Adesuwa Okunbo Rhodes who was a panelist alongisde Dr Joyce-Ann Wainana, Managing Partner, Chui Ventures, Nneka Eze, Managing Partner, Vested World, Kim Kamarebe, Managing Partner, Inua Capital.

Together, they shared their respective journeys, and also addressed the challenges facing impact investing, identifying opportunities for fund managers in Africa and tips on how to scale gender equity within portfolio companies.

She highlighted how Aruwa capital is generating strong financial returns as well as positive social impact and improving the quality of lives of millions of people in underserved and overlooked communities.
