Aruwa Capital was represented by our Founder, Adesuwa Okunbo Rhodes, at the Africa Prosperity Summit, hosted by Ventures Platform at the Civic Centre in Lagos. Under the theme “Funding the Next Billion: Africa’s VC Investment Landscape in a Post-ZIRP Era,” the summit convened industry leaders to discuss the future of venture capital on the continent.

Adesuwa joined the “Gender Lens Investing” panel alongside Biola Alabi, General Partner at Acadia Ventures; Maria Rotilu, Founding Partner at Openseed VC; and moderator Dolapo Morgan, Senior Investment Associate at Ventures Platform. The panel explored how investing in women-led businesses drives financial returns while catalysing innovation and creating social impact across Africa.
